Chris Anquist, MA, CPP is the Senior Director of Business Operations at Veritas Solutions, where he leads business development and process improvement across all service lines, partnering with Directors to deliver defensible workplace investigations, culture assessments, and training programs that strengthen psychological safety and organizational resilience.  His work focuses on aligning leadership practices, clear processes, and thoughtful work design so people leaders can act decisively with confidence in the facts.

With nearly two decades of experience managing complex organizational risk files, Chris has directed multidisciplinary teams and advisory projects across government, crown corporations, healthcare, education, retail, and regulated industries. Prior to Veritas, he led GardaWorld’s Investigations & Risk Management practice in Western Canada and served as a National Project Manager on high-stakes initiatives requiring strategic coordination and executive-level reporting. On the client side, Chris served as the City of Saskatoon’s first Corporate Security Manager, where he developed the City’s corporate security strategy and supported governance and resiliency initiatives. He is known for simplifying handoffs, improving cross-functional workflows, and strengthening the integrity of findings and recommendations for executive decision-making—bringing deep operational experience to HR risk management.

Chris holds a Master’s in Global Security and is a board-certified Protection Professional (CPP). His credentials include advanced training in Public Engagement, Mediation, and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), complemented by expertise in workplace threat assessment models such as WAVR (Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk), VTRA (Violent Threat Risk Assessment), and TES (Traumatic Event Systems). Recognized as Top 10 Under 40 (2022) and Emerging Leader (2023) by Canadian Security Magazine, Chris is valued for combining
